| after a day of catching nothing but croaker, we were about to leave , then he hit.. he ran and ran , i hollered that i was going to run out of line.. i could see the spool!! but he turned and came back toward shore.. i thought it was a big red the way he was fighting, much to my surprise it was a spadefish.. he was alot of fun and put up a very good fight, especially on the light tackle i use.. the fish was just under state record , state record was 7 lbs.. |
